Barry Gujral, PhD

Barry Gujral worked as Director, Corporate Quality Analytics at Thermo Fisher Scientific/Patheon Inc for nine years. He has the experience of working in pharmaceutical industry for more than twenty- six years. He has also worked as Visiting Professor at NC State University for two years. The new initiatives that Barry has expertise in include: Quality by Design (QbD), Process Analytical Technology (PAT) and Real Time Release. He has also completed a project with the FDA on Statistical Modeling and Quality by Design.

Barry holds a Master of Chemistry degree from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago and PhD in Analytical Chemistry. Barry earned his MBA from Fuqua School of Business, Duke University. He has published/presented more than 100 papers in different Journals/Conferences. He is co-author of five books related to Chemistry, Quality by Design and Economy. Barry was awarded a US Patent in 1999.  Barry is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt. Barry was awarded as a Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry, London on September 22, 2015.
